MUZZLE BRAKES

Muzzle brakes dampen the recoil by diverting the muzzle gases laterally backwards, similar to a rocket.

Advantage : Mathematically, a maximum recoil damping of up to 33% is possible. The shooter thus protects the shoulder.

Disadvantage : The noise perception is considerably higher for persons standing on the side, the shooter is largely spared. There are muzzle brakes with thread, so that muzzle brakes can be combined with suppressors.
